March 2015 – The founder and CEO of the Center for Coaching Certification is offering the 30-hour coaching certification in a blended learning format that includes online classes, application assignments, and a face-to-face coaching practicum in New Orleans.
Cathy Liska has presented, trained, and facilitated thousands of certification courses, organizational retreats, workshops, and seminars. She enthusiastically shares from her 20 years of experience in business ownership and management.
All coaches earning their Certified Professional Coach designation learn client-focused coaching. This coach training is approved by the ICF, the International Coach Federation.
The online classes are: About Coaching, Ethics, Understanding Your Client, Communication, and Focus and Motivation and each is followed with a homework assignment for direct application of the information. The coaching practicum includes coaching, being coached, and observing coaching sessions. The case study is completed at the end of the program and is an ideal opportunity for reviewing and outlining your coaching process. After certification participants have two optional online classes covering Business and Marketing to support long-term success as a coaching business owner.
