Vietnam is a country that lies in the lower and middle class income group. The education program in the country are in two forms; six year integrated and four year graduate program. The educational program involves rotational practice and theoretical classes. The scope of the ophthalmology residency is wide spread and government is focusing on increasing the numbers of ophthalmologist in the country.
